Allison Martinez

Allison has always been drawn to movement, beginning her yoga journey at age 10 when she joined her dad in adult classes at the local rec center. What started as a playful way to show off flexibility quickly grew into a lifelong passion for mindful, intentional practice. She completed her 200-hr yoga teacher training with Mimi Rieger Yoga in 2024, as well as Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced training in Mat, Reformer, and High Chair Pilates through District Pilates in 2023. She is currently completing her 500-hr comprehensive Pilates certification.

With over a decade of experience in the medical and allied health field, Allison currently works as a Clinical Research Manager in plastic surgery. Her strong academic background in psychology and anatomy informs a holistic, mind-body approach to her teaching. Allison's goal is to create a space where students can challenge themselves while caring for themselves--leaving feeling a little stronger, calmer, and more connected to their bodies. A runner, artist, and lover of all things wellness, Allison believes movement is one of the most powerful ways we care for both body and spirit.
